A 13-YEAR-OLD Nettleton Junior School learner, Shalom Onoja, is appealing for R50 000 to undergo surgery in South Africa to deal with rare bone cancer.

Her problem is said to have started when she bumped into something hard and started feeling pain in her knee, which then started swelling until her parents took her to the hospital, where tests were done and she was diagnosed with bone cancer.

She was taken to a hospital in India, where she was told she should have the surgery, but the doctors there increased the amount of money required, which led to her being transferred to a hospital in South Africa, where she is admitted.

The amount required by the hospital for the operation is R50 000, which is beyond the reach of her parents.

Those who would like to help, feel free to contact her mother, Ndakadashe Shumba, on her WhatsApp: +263783896440 or to call on: +27603044582 . The donations can be made via Ecocash, E – Wallet, Mujuru or World Remit platforms.
