THE French School of Harare will this Friday host its annual Career Forum, bringing together students, parents and leading professionals in an event aimed at broadening young people’s career horizons and strengthening international exposure.

Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Théo Lambert, communication officer at the French Embassy in Zimbabwe said the forum was a key platform for nurturing globally-minded youth and introducing them to diverse career pathways, including diplomacy.

“The embassy will also have a stand to engage with young people about diplomatic careers, France’s external action and opportunities in international cooperation,” he said.

“This event offers an excellent editorial opportunity to highlight career guidance, the future of young people in Zimbabwe, the international outlook promoted by the French School and the diversity of participating actors.”

The Career Forum is expected to feature professionals from various sectors such as business, technology, academia, arts, development cooperation and science who will share practical insights with learners exploring life beyond the classroom.

Parents and guardians have been invited to support students as they navigate career decisions in an increasingly globalised world.

This year’s forum continues the French School’s tradition of promoting multicultural learning and fostering connections between Zimbabwean youth and international institutions.

The event is open to students from various schools across Harare.
