THE woman, whose name was sucked into the drama which led to a couple’s tragic death in Dzivarasekwa this week, says her comments, or feelings, are not necessary as they will not BRING BACK HER SLAIN HUSBAND.
Patience Mangwiro is mourning the death of her husband, Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission Commissioner, Dr Martin Muduva, at his home in Harare.
Dr Muduva was struck three times on the head, with his first wife Lyliosa Chirara suspected of carrying out the murder, before she downed poison and killed herself.
The tragedy unfolded just days after Dr Muduva paid lobola for Patience Mangwiro, finally sealing a romance which has been in existence for five years, with the couple having been blessed with a child.
Patience works at the Midlands State University, where Dr Muduva was also a lecturer.
When H-Metro contacted Patience yesterday, she was very clear she did not want to discuss the case.

“Come on, not everything is content,” she said.
More details have since emerged about the circumstances surrounding Dr Muduva’s death and the death of his first wife, Lyliosa Chirara, a 43-year-old nurse.
Lyliosa was based at the Ruwa Rehabilitation Centre at the time of her death.
Some people suspect she had been planning the murder from the time she bought a new axe at Mbare Musika.
Investigators say she also bought a sachet of rat poison, which she allegedly mixed with rodenticide before carrying out the attack.
It is further alleged that Lyliosa downed the poisonous mixture shortly after the murder, leaving her three children without a parent.
Community members, who responded to the crime scene, said their first reaction was that Dr Muduva’s house had been targeted by some armed robbers.
“One of our neighbours said the maid left the house at midnight and knocked at a nearby home, shouting for help,” said one community member.
“That neighbour quickly informed us through the community WhatsApp group that something bad had happened at Muduva’s house.”
The community member said residents rushed to the property armed, only to discover later that the tragic incident involved the Commissioner and his wife.
“The wife locked the bedroom door after killing her husband and then took a mixture of rat poison, presumably to ensure that none of them would survive,” the community member said.
“We had to break the locking system to gain entry into the bedroom.
“We rushed both of them to the clinic.”
The community member also said the axe had been sharpened before the attack.
“Commissioner Muduva and his wife were good neighbours. They were supportive of the septic tanks project which is underway, and we have been robbed.”
The Muduva and Chirara families met for several hours to discuss burial arrangements but failed to reach an agreement after an exchange of harsh words.
The families then agreed to pause the talks and reconvene later.
