Legendary Sounds live up to billing

The show lived up to its high billing as the crew kept the crowd on their feet with yet another electrifying performance.

The group got onto the stage at 11pm, and immediately set the stage alight with a string of songs from reggae legend Bob Marley.

The two, who have become synonymous with a strong on-stage performance, drove the adrenaline levels of the crowd higher when they started giving an exhibition of their now famous reggae dance moves.

During their performance, the duo also gave away copies of their latest album as various competitions were run during their performance with lucky revellers winning a copy of their project.

In an interview on the sidelines of their performance DJ Smiley said they had felt the need to return to Bulawayo so soon after their previous shows because of the level of appreciation they received from people in the city.

“We enjoyed our performance here and we had a lot of fun. Every time we play here we feel people have an appreciation of the music which is really important to us,” he said.

A reveller, who spoke on condition of anonymity, expressed her delight at the performance of the duo, taking particular joy from the fact that the duo gave it their all whenever they were on stage.

“They gave another great performance today and every time they have been in Bulawayo they have never disappointed,” she said.
