POLICE Commissioner General, Godwin Matanga, said they have put in place necessary plans to ensure their visibility on the roads during the Easter holiday.

It will also be the same case during the Independence celebrations.

“As we approach the Easter and Independence holidays, let me urge motorists and all other road users to exercise extreme caution on the roads,” said Comm-Gen Matanga.

“Let us take a stand as a nation to bring sanity on our roads and encourage our brothers and sisters to drive safely,” he said.

Police, the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, Harare City Council and Vehicle Inspection Department are expected to visit Mbare bus terminus this morning as part of their traffic safety awareness campaign.
