other in our bid to make the project a success.
Maybe there are some family members who are not tainted, hats off, and please remain as pure as is possible.
Criticism is very healthy for as long as it does not infringe on individual personal rights. One person who comes to mind as a victim is Farai Jere and, to a lesser extent, Twine Phiri.
Farai has been criticised by most of us for doing things the “wrong” way or rather “not our way”.
These are some of the occupational hazards one expects to come across if put into Farai’s shoes.
I am not against us criticising our management and each other if they and us make decisions which backfire, what I am against is them and us turning that criticism into malice, hatred, bad mouthing, name calling and other unprintables.
I honestly think we, as a family, have taken it too far and are currently in over drive over this issue.
We have now exerted too much pressure on decision makers that sometimes decisions they are now making are not rational.
I am not saying Farai Jere is a saint, no.
I have always said these two guys FJ and TP should have done things differently in the last seven years but can we persecute them day in and day out without providing tangible solutions?
Right now our house is poisoned, lots of finger pointing, plots and sub plots, factions and sub factions, camps and sub camps, rebels and anti rebels but do we really need this in the house?
The enemy is capitalising on our disunity, we have been pressing the self-destruction button for far too long now.
I am calling for unity in the family and forgiveness to those that have been wronged. I will not mention names, but this is the time for anyone who has anything to do with the KepeKepe cause to bury the hatchet.
I honestly believe with unity across all structures we will achieve.
Some people feel they were unfairly dismissed from the establishment, mistreated and sidelined.
It’s time we forgive each other right across the family structures.
We know who we have wronged in our personal capacities during the execution of our roles.
If it means redeploying some of the unfairly dismissed staff members let it be, but the magic word is “sorry”.
To those wronged please accept the apology, CAPS United is our team, we are in it together, there is no “our CAPS United” nor “their CAPS United”.
We will swim together or sink together, the legacy is for greater than our personal egos.
We know who we are.
Thank you.
