ALL is set for the fourth edition of the Zimbabwe British Entertainment Awards (Zim Brits) in Northampton, UK, tomorrow.
WaMambo Holdings is behind the event set for Hilton Hotel.
It will reunite Levels and Shashl, who are expected to arrive in the UK today.
Uncle Epaton and Extra Large are on the same trip and are billed to perform.
Apart from the Zimbabwe-based acts, Ivy Kombo, Qounfuzed, Matilda Tekeshe, King Alfred and Mike Killah are also on the line-up with Tytan being the host.
In an interview with H-Metro, Kudzaishe Chipadza, of Wamambo Holdings, said:
“The fourth edition of the awards has seen us adding more categories than usual.
“It’s a good development that shows this year’s edition is better and bigger.
“The Zimbabwe British Entertainment Awards (Zim Brits) is an initiative to show appreciation to Zimbabweans, who are in the UK Diaspora entertainment industry.
“It is an occasion to bring the entertainment industry together, network and foster collaborations while also strengthening it.
“The event is also meant to highlight our success as well as discuss our shortcomings, thus ensuring we continue building the entertainment industry in innovative ways that ensure we find value in what we do.
“It is also an opportunity for corporates to partner with us and promote their brands, through the artists who will grace the occasion, as well as brand visibility during the voting stage, up to the main event.”
He added: “I can confirm all travelling acts have already left Zimbabwe and we are expecting them tomorrow (today).
“It’s going to be a good event and we wish all nominees all the best.”
