You may be grappling with what type of business to venture into, to achieve financial freedom.
Ideally, you would want a business that offers good returns and has potential for growth.
I was talking to a colleague recently; he tried to convince me that the transport industry was flooded and is no longer a lucrative business.
From his explanation and reflections, I almost bought the idea until I saw a different light.
Any business idea can thrive; it really depends on the visionary.
Who ever thought poultry farming can have new entrants that turn out to be successful?
The retail business can have new brands that will make history.
The automobile industry continues to write history.
What this shows is that you simply need to position yourself for success.
You do not need to struggle with business ideas. You need to have the drive and passion for whatever business venture you choose.
A business idea cannot be based on numbers only.
Business should not be driven by the idea of trying to escape from poverty.
If you are not truly entrenched in the business, any slight sign of trouble will see you chicken out.
Passion prepares you to endure and eventually enjoy life.
To be a success story you need to have passion and a life strategy that makes you unique.
Life does not have to be easy, nor should it be necessarily difficult.
It should be an experience in which you seek to express yourself and achieve your goal.
Someone is thriving in the same industry you are shunning.
Everyone’s story is different, so do not make the mistake of wanting to live another person’s story.
All the inspiring stories that you hear should equip you on what to do, and what not to do.
Change the face of the industry you enter; follow your own path.
At the top, there is always enough room to accommodate new players.
Each individual is different.
Failure is a bottomless pit that can swallow imitators.
If you are normal and ordinary, you cannot be a success story.
You need to give the world a good reason to rally behind your idea.
You cannot count on anyone following you, if you do not have what it takes to make people believe in you.
Yes, a product or service may already be in existence, but give the world a reason to go with your brand.
The list of reasons people copy someone are many; it only takes a visionary to walk a new path.
Go for your idea, and be the long awaited solution to a problem.
The world is changing everyday.
You can be the change that saves the world, provided you give it your all.
Do not allow anyone to remind you of what they failed to achieve themselves.
Be open to new possibilities and seek to be yourself.
There is no guarantee that you will succeed the same way.
There is no guarantee that you will fail, so there should be nothing to stop you from forging ahead.
Remember, you are not joining the crowd but starting your own path.
Your environment is not there to deter you, but to mould your idea to ensure that it is worth the salt.
A harsh environment is an obstacle that the ordinary will fail.
If you have nothing to offer, failure is a sure thing.
If you are singing a song that society has heard before, do not blame anyone for not dancing.
Where you cannot beat the set record, it follows that you may not be celebrated.
I have seen new fast foods outlets continue to sprout, and the new entrants capitalising on gaps in the market.
You need to bring a unique recipe.
Fill the gap, and give the world a reason to rally behind you.
You can only pass an exam if you surpass the minimum required threshold.
Offer what is beyond the minimum, and be celebrated accordingly.
Failure is a reality, and so is success. The difference is the involved individuals, and what they chose to believe.
In a crowded world, you can make a name for yourself if you are passionate.
