Lilfordia to host cricket tournament

two pools of four with Pool A made up of Springvale, Ruzawi, Musikili and LCPS and Pool B featuring St John’s, Lilfordia, Bryden and Hellenic.
The matches will be played on a round robin basis with the teams listed first batting.
Fielding sides are required to bowl 15 overs, using at least five different bowlers within 38 minutes.
Should any team be bowled all out, they will continue to bat starting from the top again until 15 overs are completed or the bell signalling the end of the period is rung.

Ruzawi are the defending champions while St John’s were the losing finalists and will be out to redeem themselves.
The curtain will come down on the event with the presentation of “Casanova” trophy to the winning team.
There will be individual prizes for the best batsman, bowler and wicket keeper.
The tournament is an annual event and previous winners include Barwick, Springvale, St John’s, Ruzawi and Lilfordia.
