In the afternoon there would be a soccer match between Dynamos and Highlanders at the National Sports Stadium to cap the celebrations.
The programme at State House will end after the delivery of the address with the singing of the national anthem.
The President will then deliver his address to the nation.
09:50 The ceremony is expected to start at 11am with the arrival of the President where he will take the Presidential salute followed by the singing of the national anthem and flypast. This will be followed by a devotion by Reverend Paul Damasane.

President Mnangagwa is this morning expected to address the nation on the occasion of the country’s 41st Independence anniversary celebrations. The truncated event is being held at State House in line with measures to contain the Covid 19 pandemic.
