All is set for the Living Waters Musical productions album launch to be held in Glen View at the Royal College where gospel singer Matthias Mhere will be guest performer.
Living Waters Musical productions is an interdenominational group with 30 members.
The vibrant group promotes young talent through music.
The group is launching its album entitled “Ndanzwa Kupisa” with six songs.
In an interview, the group production manager Sabastian Sitima said all is going according to plan.
“We have finalised the album and for now I can’t share with you some of the songs featured on it but we are pleased to say everything is going according to plan. The event will see Matthias Mhere sharing the stage with the choir apart from other upcoming artistes who will showcase their talent. To us it is also a family day,” he said.
He said the event will see activities like speech and drama, music, poems and choir competitions among others taking place.
“We have received a lot of entries from different upcoming singers who want to use the platform to market themselves. Music is a universal language hence we are not restricting those who want to take part because it is an album launch. There will be VIP area and the rest of the grounds section,” he said.
The group’s spokesperson pastor Coffi Kapiti said it will be their second album since the group started music in 2014.
“Our first album called ‘Rumbidzwai’ was good. On this second album we have used instruments like guitars, keyboards,marimba, rattles and drums. It’s more of African traditional music,” he said.
