Bulawayo Multimedia Box Production Company created a drama The Stealers that premièred on Saturday on Zambezi Magic channel 161 on DSTV.
The storyline of the film is about two burglars who bump into each other and get entangled in a love triangle, it is a love story fused with a bit of comedy.
The producer of the drama, Mr Kudzai Chikomo, said he was elated by the drama.
“In terms of production we have been left behind so this is a way of letting our voice out as a production house.”
Multimedia box has produced dramas like Jaiva Sbone and they said they are not stopping anytime soon, as they have more projects on the pipeline.
“This is not our first drama, we have done Jaiva Sbone and now The Stealers the film, there are more projects that we are still cooking that include a drama series called Social Lead which will be out soon,” said Mr Chikomo. The drama is a product of Multimedia Box, starring Sandra Ndebele, Zenzo Nyathi, Memory Kumbota, Sam Malet and Paulla Paah Nyathi, directed by the experienced Raisedon Baya and written by Nkosilesisa Ncube.
