Lock reach semis

BENJAMIN Lock stormed into the semi-finals of the ongoing International Tennis Federation Old Mutual Futures Series yesterday when he overcame eighth seed Aryan Goveas of India at Harare Sports Club.

The top seed beat Goveas 6-3, 6-4 in straight sets to ensure he remains in the running for the singles title in the second tournament of the three events ending on July 2.

And it was a double for him as Lock and his partner Nathaniel Lammons cruised to the doubles finals set for today when they defeated the pair of Thomas Setodji and Cesar Testoni 7-5, 6-2.
