THE “Love Meets Fashion” show held on Valentine’s Day at The Wild Thing Action Bar on Valentine’s Day in Victoria Falls saw six designers showcasing their creative work at a colourful event. The show was a class act as designers proved that the country has quality young designers.
Lovers and tourists had an opportunity to see the latest high fashion trends exhibited by the designers.
The designers included Blinq Xclusiv Jewellery, ShadowBySdue, Rebelious Klothing, Clix Clothing, Tripple L, Litso and Victoria Falls’s own Mosi Seigns by Louisa. Bulawayo Swagg presenter Mbo Mahocs was the director of ceremonies at the event.
ShadowBySdue designer, Sidumiso Tshuma said he was now looking forward to showcasing his designs in Cape Town.
“We need such shows for us to grow and be recognised. We also believe that clothing houses should also assist local designers by arranging similar shows,” he said.
The designers also went and showcased their work in Hwange on Saturday evening.
Sheenah Moyo, one of the coordinators said the show was a great success.
“The designers did a splendid job and their designs were top notch. The most important thing is that their designs were appreciated and welcomed by guests who attended the event,” she said.
