Lower division teams excluded from centralised registration

Bulawayo Zifa Province chairman Horace Ndubiwa confirmed the developments yesterday.
“The resolution to exclude the lower divisions from the centralised registration was passed at the annual general meeting that was held in Harare on 31 March. The meeting agreed to exempt lower divisions after we highlighted that it was too late to implement the system because most clubs had already done their budgets for the season,” Ndubiwa said.

He said the lower divisions will be incorporated into the centralised registration process in the 2013-14 season.
Meanwhile, the Zifa Bulawayo Division Two and Three seasons will kick off this Saturday at different venues across the city and in the surrounding areas.

Ndubiwa said all was set for the league kick off and all  opening matches will be played on Saturday starting at 3pm except for the Besana/Wolves match that is kicking off at 1pm.
