Fifteen beer drinkers from Bulawayo are set to go on a two-day partying spree in Harare next weekend through a “Buy a six pack and win” promotion that is ongoing at nightspots, Club 263, Club Connect, Private Lounge and Umqombothi Sports Bar.
To enter the competition where the imbibers will also attend some of the Harare International Carnival events, one has to buy a six pack of any beer brand of their choice at any of the nightspots and fill in entry forms. A draw will be conducted on Friday when the 15 winners will be announced.
Devine Assignments spokesperson, Zandile Moyo said the promotion was being held to promote domestic tourism.
“The main aim of the promotion is to ensure that people from Bulawayo are afforded an opportunity to travel and have fun while being exposed to other places.
“In Harare, they’ll go to different nightclubs to have an appreciation of the capital city’s nightlife,” said Moyo.
She said Devine Assignments would cater for transport and accommodation in Harare.
“This is an all expenses paid trip so all the winners need to do is pack their bags and be ready to party non-stop. Their favourite drinks will also be availed to them for free during the duration of the trip.”
The competition which launched recently in Harare saw 15 imbibers from the capital visiting Bulawayo earlier this month. “This competition started in Harare last month and the winners had a good time in the City of Kings and Queens where they partied at Club Connect, Private Lounge, Club 263 and Umqombothi Sports Bar.
“We hope the Bulawayo winners will also have a ball in Harare especially considering that they’re going at a time that the Harare International Carnival will be at its peak.”
