Lucky subscriber wins car in Telecel promo

A total of 38 subscribers have so far won phones while 132 more phones are still to be won.

Apart from winning the four VW Polos, Telecel subscribers stand a chance to win the grand prize of an Amarok VW truck when the promotion ends on March 17. Everyday Telecel is giving away two Samsung Galaxy phones while one subscriber walks away with a Volkswagen Polo every two weeks.

“This is really a miracle. I decided to enter the promotion on Saturday and I had to borrow US$3 from someone to recharge my phone because I had no money. After answering the questions, I was surprised when Telecel called to say that I had won. I have been subscribing with Telecel since it began operating and I can say this is my reward for being a faithful customer,” Mr Nyikadzino said.

To enter the promotion, a subscriber sends a blank message and answers a series of questions where points are accumulated for each correct answer.

The first and third VW Polo car prizes are won through a random draw while the other cars are to be won by the subscriber with the highest score in terms of points accumulated. The grand prize will be won through a draw.

The Win Big Promo is the latest in a series of promotions run by Telecel, the last of which saw a Bindura woman winning the grand prize of a Mazda BT50 double cab and 189 other subscribers winning cellphones, laptops and a variety of other prizes.
