Ludacris’ ex-girlfriend thinks he only got married to gain custody of their daughter because he wants to show he can offer a more stable home environment than she can.
The 37-year-old rapper announced his engagement to Eudoxie Mbouguiengue via Instagram on December 27 and got married on the same day, but Tamika Fuller thinks the hastily-arranged wedding only took place so he could show the Georgia court presiding over their custody case that he can provide 12-month-old Cai with a more stable home environment than she can as a single parent, a source told website TMZ.
Ludacris is bidding for full custody of the little girl and has claimed he is a better parent and has the means to provide her with a better life.
However, Tamika reportedly thinks he is just trying to avoid paying US$7 000 a month in child support.
The dispute begins in court later this month. Cai was born while Eudoxie and the “2 Fast 2 Furious” star — who also has 13-year-old daughter Karma from another relationship — were on a break and sources revealed early last year that she decided to stand by him as she was eager to settle down with him.
Ludacris — whose real name is Christopher Brian Bridges — confirmed he had tied the knot by posting a photograph of himself wearing a black suit and Eudoxie in a wedding dress on Facebook last Tuesday, with the caption: “Why wait? Did the thing before 2015”. — Bangshowbiz.
