Lupane, Zimbabwe – THE Vice Chancellor of Lupane State University Professor Pardon Kuipa expressed gratitude to the Government for its financial support, enabling the institution to initiate several construction projects, including the Bingwa Wildlife Eco-Tourism Innovation Industrial Park.
Speaking during the institution’15th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, Professor Kuipa said the park will feature eco-friendly accommodations, camping grounds, and a conference facility designed to attract both local and international tourists and researchers.
The initiative aims to generate capital, create revenue, and foster knowledge and human capital development in the region.
It aligns with the Zimbabwean government’s Education 5.0 initiative, which emphasises innovation and community engagement in higher education. By promoting eco-tourism, the university seeks to enhance economic opportunities while contributing to sustainable development in the area.
