HIGHLANDERS assistant coach, Joel Luphahla, says the team is going to make their fans happy this season.
Bosso headed to Beitbridge for a pre-season camp after a goalless draw against Premiership newcomers Shesham at Ascot on Saturday.
“I don’t think there’s any coach who is happy with their team at the moment because it’s pre-season and they will be trying to sort out combinations.
“If you ask any coach, they will not tell you that they’re happy with their team right now because it’s work in progress.
“But, at Highlanders, we are expected to do well and you can’t hide from the pressure that comes with that.
“We are going to make our fans happy and we know that we are going to put together a very competitive team, it’s just a matter of time.”
He said the players’ market was tight, but if they find the right fit for Bosso, they will not hesitate to buy.
“We can’t just sign any player. We want someone who has the character to play for Highlanders,” Luphahla said.
Highlanders have so far lost Nqobizitha Masuku to Botswana, while midfielder Adrian Silla was sold to CAPS United.
Bosso recalled goalkeeper Reward Muza from Bulawayo Chiefs where he was on loan.
“If we find good replacements, we will not hesitate to bring them in because every club wants to have experienced players.
“They help carry the burdens of younger players, and we are just waiting to identify the right ones, and then we are good,” he said.
