LVG slams players

LONDON. — Louis van Gaal has slammed his Manchester United players following their 2-2 draw against West Brom on Monday night. The Red Devils fell behind twice in the match and struggled to create any clear-cut chances at the Hawthorns. A late strike from Daley Blind rescued a point for the visitors, who looked vulnerable throughout the match. Speaking after the game, van Gaal criticised his team for their disappointing performance, and blamed individual errors for the poor result.

He said: “Im very disappointed as we played our best match of the season, and the result is not good enough. “I think we could’ve won — but that doesn’t count in our world. So that’s why I’m disappointed.

“But I have to be also happy because I think we created a lot of chances, and only two shots from West Bromich Albion were goals.” — Daily Star-AFP.
