Entumbane-bred creative Mac Juta Mpofu has launched his own podcast, iKasi LAMI Podcast, an exciting new platform aimed at bringing people together through authentic conversations, inspiring stories and engaging discussions.

Mpofu said the podcast seeks to create a space where every voice matters and where creativity, culture and ideas can be shared with the world.

At the heart of iKasi LAMI Podcast is a passion for music and entertainment. The show will feature interviews with musicians, DJs, producers, content creators, entrepreneurs, sports personalities, community leaders and individuals with unique experiences and compelling stories to tell.

Through honest and insightful conversations, listeners will have the opportunity to discover the people behind the talent and gain a deeper understanding of their journeys, successes and challenges.

“While music remains a major focus, iKasi LAMI Podcast is designed for everyone. The platform will explore a wide range of topics, including lifestyle, business, sports, culture, social issues, technology, current affairs and community development.
“The aim is to create content that informs, inspires and entertains audiences from different backgrounds and generations,” said Mpofu.

He said the name iKasi LAMI, which means “My Township”, represents community, identity and pride. Mpofu said the platform reflects the belief that powerful stories can come from anywhere and that local voices deserve a global audience.
“Whether the guest is a well-known figure or an emerging talent, the podcast seeks to celebrate people and their contributions to society. This platform is built on the idea that everyone has a story worth sharing.

“It is a place where conversations spark ideas, experiences inspire others and where talent is given the opportunity to reach new audiences,” said Mpofu.
The first episode of the podcast is expected to premiere on YouTube in mid-July.
