FORMER Chitungwiza mayor, Gift Tsverere, appears to have triggered the fury of many people with his questionable conduct.
His appearance at the Harare Civil Court last week has opened a can of worms for the Councillor.
His pregnant wife, Tsitsi Ndawana, was granted a protection order after having told the court he threatened to kill her and also destroy their household property.
She also described him as a drunkard, a violent man who was a promiscuous and abusive husband.
The story has captured the attention of our readers who are not happy with Tsverere’s behaviour.
They have even described him as a monster.

We don’t condone such behaviour. As we commemorate 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we do not accept people who behave in such a manner. I hope he is brought to book for what he has done. How can he beat up a woman? People never learn. This should come to an end. – Chido Lass.
