Madagascar’s President Andry Rajoelina arrives

MADAGASCAR’s President Andry Rajoelina has arrived at the Robert Mugabe International Airport to join other Heads of State and Government for the SADC Extraordinary Summit set for today.

President Rajoelina was welcomed by National Housing and Social Amenities Minister Zhemu Soda.

The Summit is expected to bring together regional leaders to discuss pressing security and political issues affecting the region, particularly the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

The participation of President Rajoelina highlights Madagascar’s commitment to regional cooperation and peace-building efforts.
