MADAM BOSS UNDER FIRE. . . Ticket prices rile fans in Botswana

Tanaka Mahanya

COMEDIENNE and socialite, Madam Boss, has riled her fans in Botswana over her exorbitant ticket prices at her “Women of Power” event.

The event will be held on December 4 at Big Five Lodges in Gaborone.

General dinner tickets are going for P300, VIP P500, VVIP P1 000 with kids expected to fork out P150 per head.

However, her fans have found the prices unreasonable and a way to make quick money by milking them.

After the successful One Nite Only event hosted by Mai TT during the weekend in UK, social media users say Madam Boss is now under pressure.

Below are some of the comments:

From 2pm till late? I want to see the full program because Madam Boss has one song which lasts six minutes or so and you cannot dance for more than five minutes. You can’t give your speeches in Tswana, Sotho or English meaning that your target is Zim ladies. Zim Wrong.
