As promised! Madonna’s eight year old son David gets gold grills just like the Queen of Pop . . . She said she’d get him some for his birthday.
And now Madonna has made good on her promise and gotten son David Banda his very own set of gold grills.
The eight year old flashed his new gold-tooth rims in a photo the Queen of Pop posted on Instagram on Monday.
In the picture, David is all smiles as he flashes his blinged out grin. The 55 year old Material Girl uploaded the photo with the message, ‘‘Someone stole my Grilzzzzzzz!!!’’ David has wanted his own set ever since Madge started sporting her dental accessories last summer.
And while the mother and son showed up in identical outfits to the Grammys last month, only the Papa Don’t Preach singer was wearing grills that day. Both wore black suits with crisp white shirts and black ties, along with black hats.
However David chose funky black and white brogues to finish off his look while Madonna’s walking stick, silver gloves and ever present grill, helped her look slightly different.
While David didn’t have teeth grills at the Grammys, he revealed his mother was planning to buy him some. Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, the eight year old enthusiastically said: ‘‘She said she’d get me a grill for this birthday.’’ But Madge chimed in with an excuse, ‘‘We haven’t had time, you have to go to the dentist and get molds.’’
When Ryan asked about her grill, Madonna said: ‘‘Yeah, I’m grillin. I wear it when I don’t have to eat. Actually, I’ve learned to eat with my grill in.’’
The music legend is hardly the only celebrity to have had her teeth done, though she is perhaps one of the oldest.
Rapper Kanye West reportedly had his lower teeth covered in diamonds, while fellow trendsetting females Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and even Beyonce have been pictured with gold embellishments on their teeth. — dailymail.
