HIGHFIELD-BASED Madzibaba Moses on Saturday hosted prison inmates as part of his anti-drugs and substance awareness campaign.
The inmates were in the company of ex-convict, and television personality, Oscar Pambuka.
Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Meya Khanyezi, led the inmates and commended Madzibaba Moses for joining other church leaders in fighting drugs and substance abuse.
“This is our first time to be invited by an Apostolic Faith church and we commend Madzibaba Moses for such a positive move in nation building,” said Ass-Comm Khanyezi.
“Inmates, led by Oscar Pambuka spent the better part of the day warning children and their parents over the danger of abusing drugs and substances.
“We were expecting to be at the open place, hey, this is different, mapositori vavekuvaka zvidziro zvakaisvonaka kudai.
“If all white garment churches do the same we will go somewhere as a nation considering their large numbers across the country as well as in our prisons.
“Among the white garment churches, we have some convicted prophets serving sentences for rape as well as drug and substance abuse.”
