Madzibaba set for two shows

SENIOR lecturer Nicholas “Madzibaba” Zachariah will hold a show in Bulawayo tomorrow and another one in Esigodini on Saturday.
Madzibaba will be joined on stage by Charles Ndebele and his Ndolwane Super Sounds band. In Bulawayo, Madzibaba and Ndolwane will be at Manor Hotel and the following day they will be at Jabula Inn in Esigodini.
Ndolwane Super Sounds is coordinating the Bulawayo show while Khiama Boys are organising the Esigodini show.

In an interview, Charles Ndebele said fans should look forward to great shows.
“We have been preparing hard for the two shows and fans are guaranteed shows to remember,” said Ndebele. Madzibaba has not been to Bulawayo for a long time and his fans are definitely looking forward to his shows.

Ndebele said this will be the third time for his band to hold a joint show with Madzibaba after sharing the stage at Masina Bar in Bulawayo and at Kombani Lodge in Plumtree

“We are planning to have more shows throughout the country. We have a good working relationship and we are considering doing collaborations,” he said.

Madzibaba is regarded as the best sungura tutor after nurturing a number of musicians that have gone to be top artistes on the local scene. Among them is Alick Macheso, System Tazvida and Zacharia “Zaka Zaka” Zacharia.

Madzibaba is a talented lead guitarist whose career spans more than a decade. He has released hit songs such as Mabvi Nemagokora and Mwana Wangu.
