MADZIBABA UNDER FIRE IN SODOMY CASE

A SELF-STYLED prophet has been accused by his followers of facilitating the escape of a fellow prophet alleged to have sodomised two 12-year-old boys at his shrine.

Madzibaba Enock, real name Danniel Mutore, is believed to have worked with some cops to ensure Madzibaba Jalel Munondinzwei (22), who is accused of sodomising the two minors, was released.

Madzibaba Jalel Munondinzwei was alleged to have sodomised his two aides, known as ‘vasondosi,’ at the Chiremba Road shrine in Cranborne.

The attack happened on December 23 last year after he had shown them some pornographic material.

The two minors informed shrine elders and their parents.

Sources said Madzibaba Munondinzwei relocated to Marondera where he has started conducting services.

One resident tipped off the police and he was arrested.

The source said Madzibaba Munondinzwei escaped when the arresting officers parked their vehicle to relieve themselves, a move believed to have been facilitated by Madzibaba Enock.

“We cannot allow such an abomination at the shrine,” said one follower.

“This is evil and we will not accept that pamasowe vakatouraya hupenyu hwevana.

“Vakavatadzirei, inga vaivevasondosi vepamasowe wani.

“There will be no worshipping at that shrine until Madzibaba Enock brings back Madzibaba Munondinzwei to face justice.

“We are also appealing for the arrest of the police officers.”

Madzibaba Enock blamed the cops for allowing Madzibaba Munondinzwei to escape.

“Madzibaba Munondinzwei is one of my junior prophets that I identified from the rural areas,” said Madzibaba Enock.

“I cannot comment much about the case since it is under investigation and police are supposed to answer the question as to why did they released him.

Ndezvepanyika pano, zvinorema izvi,” said Madzibaba Enock.
