CHICKEN Inn coach Joey “Mafero” Antipas wants his Gamecocks to prepare themselves for the Mother of All Fights in the final chapter of their Survivor Series.

They are bracing themselves for a tough Castle Lager Premier Soccer League trip to Greenfuel Arena on Saturday.

With six games left, the Gamecocks sit 10th on 33 points, level with Highlanders and Manica Diamonds.

Greenfuel are 17th with 28 points, a single point behind third-from-bottom Dynamos.

Triangle United, CAPS United and Bikita Minerals are just a point ahead on 32.

“We have a very difficult assignment away from home against Greenfuel. It is going to be a battle, a hectic game. We are not yet safe from relegation, we are not yet off the woods.

“We need to go there and fight like we have never fought before,” said Antipas.

His preparations have been hampered by injuries.

Midfielders Joseph Tulani, Marlon Mushonga and skipper Xolani “Lolo” Ndlovu are all ruled out, with a few more players under assessment.

“Mushonga, Tulani and our skipper Xolani will be out. We also have other couple of injury concerns and we hope the players will recover in time,” the veteran gaffer said.

Tomorrow the weekend programme starts with Scottland hosting Manica Diamonds at Rufaro.
