South African group Mafikizolo has promised a top drawer act at their show in Harare at Belgravia Sports Club on August 27 where they will share the stage with fellow countryman KO and local acts Jah Prayzah, Winky D, Judgement Yard, Crimson Blu, Junior Brown, Queen Vee, Briss Mbada, Schingy, Tgonzi, Rax and DJ Stavo.Organisers of the show 2Kings Entertainment said the SA duo has been putting together a special act for the tour adding they are ready to conquer the capital city and happy to return to have time with their local fans.
“Mafikizolo have sent a serious message about their intention on this tour. They say it will be different from their previous Harare shows because they feel they owe their local fans a lot due to the support they have been given over the years when they have performed here,” said D-Nosh of 2Kings Entertainment.
“They said the special act will be specifically made for Harare fans and they have been doing serious preparations to ensure they honour their fans in a special way. It is good to hear foreign musicians appreciating our support and promising special gifts on stage.”
D-Nosh said KO was willing to test the local waters and would perform his hits and start building a relationship with his Zimbabwean fans.
He is expected to perform hit hits like “Caracara”, “Wafa Wafa” and “Dark or Blue”.
The show will also be a celebration of ZiFM’s fourth anniversary and a lot of other entertainment activities are expected on the night.
Mafikizolo’s previous shows in Zimbabwe have left lasting impressions and the duo tours almost annually and gets full-houses at most of their shows.
The local line-up will ensure that fans get a variety of styles and the night is likely to be memorable.
