Magaya’s aide granted bail

A security aide to the founder of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries, Prophet Walter Magaya, who is facing charges of obstructing the course of justice, has been granted US$300 bail.

Tapiwa Felix Chikondo (34) appeared before Harare provincial magistrate, Mr Tapiwa Kuhudzai, who granted him bail.

Chikondo was ordered not to interfere with witnesses, to reside at his given address, and to surrender his passport to the Clerk of Court.

The trial is set for November 20.

Chikondo, who is represented by his lawyers Mr Stephen Chikotora and Mr Malvern Mapako, is accused of interfering with Magaya’s arrest on Saturday.
