HARARE’S Theatre in the Park is set to bring back the “Magitare in the Park” slot this Saturday.

In an all-Afro-fusion affair, Gwevedzi Redefined, Norman Masamba and Audinance Kuimba will share the stage.

Gwevedzi Redefined is gaining a fair fan base following the introduction of Matalamanda, their new lead singer who seems to have settled in quite well.

The event is aimed at promoting networking between creatives and various stakeholders so that they come up with ways to grow the industry.

In an interview, event organiser Taffiae Matiure said the initiative is an ongoing exercise to build the industry and explore diverse fields through song and dance.

“There is need for continuation of such events as we seek ways to grow the industry,” said Matiure

“This a family event and as the festive season is approaching, there is no better way to create a conducive atmosphere in the park. We seek to promote local content.”
