Warriors football star Kudakwashe Mahachi got married last weekend in his home town, Bulawayo.
The 25-year-old, who is currently based in South Africa as a winger for Orlando Pirates, headed back to Bulawayo after the 2018/19 season for his wedding where he married his long-time girlfriend, Rose Tatenda.
The wedding was attended by Mahachi’s friends and family, as well as several high profile football friends and officials.
His childhood best friend, former Bantu Rovers team-mates and Club Brudge midfielder Marvelous Nakamba was his best man while his Kaizer Chiefs defender was Teenage Hadebe were among the groomsmen.
Mahachi endured a fairly up and down season with the Soweto giants, and was rightly dropped at one point. He regained his place this year and that saw him back in the national team fold.
