Mahatshula Clinic in Bulawayo reopens

MAHATSHULA Clinic in Bulawayo has reopened to the public.

The Clinic had been under a lease until 10 July 2023.

Following the expiration of the lease, the City of Bulawayo took over and the Clinic was reopened on 4 September.

The local authority now runs 21 clinics and one infectious disease hospital (Thorngrove) in the city.

In a statement, Bulawayo Town Clerk, Mr Christopher Dube said: “The City of Bulawayo would like to advise members of the residents and stakeholders that the Mahatshula Clinic is now open to members of the public.”

“The Clinic opened its doors on Monday, 4th September 2023 and the following services are offered at the facility; out Patients Department (OPD) Consultation, antenatal Care Post Natal Care, Reproductive Health Services, tuberculosis (TB) Services, HIV Services, expanded Programme of Immunization (EPI) Growth Monitoring,” he said.

The clinic will be open from Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 4pm and Saturdays 7:30am to 11:30am.
