Dr Sithole said wellness and productivity were inseparable for professionals, while rest and time for social activity should not be sacrificed for more working hours as one could succumb to exhaustion and loneliness.

She said to avoid putting one’s mental wellbeing and health at risk, it was essential for the professionals to find a work -life balance that is not toxic.
Elder Donald Khumalo, from the local church, said their core existence was to serve and uplift the community, while they believed in the power of education and equipping people with practical knowledge that can enhance their lives and contribute positively to the community.
“This seminar is a direct reflection of our dedication to that cause. It underscores the church’s commitment to empowering the community to address prevalent challenges through idea sharing, collaboration and knowledge dissemination,” he said.
