Mahendere, Charambas to ignite Kwekwe

Gospel lovers are set for a treat this weekend in Kwekwe as Mahendere brothers and Baba naAmaiCharamba will be co-hosting a gospel concert at Mbizo 4 Shopping Centre, The concert was organised by Fellowship House Ministries (FHM) which is hosting a miracle crusade which will run between today and tomorrow.Seasoned gospel musician Amos Mahendere who is set to unveil his new album with 13 tracks titled “Rebirth” said it is going to be two days of fireworks as they are now polishing up their preparations together with Baba naAmai Charamba, adding he will not disappoint his fans.

“Gospel music can go a long way in defining a people’s moral lifestyle. We are not going to disappoint the people of Kwekwe as myself and Baba naAmai Charamba have been rehearsing tracks which we are going to sing.

It is also a perfect opportunity for launching my new album titled ‘Rebirth’ with the most interesting song called ‘Mukadziwa Portifa’, with a video which we are expecting to complete soon and put it on youtube,” he said.

FHM founder Prophet Maxwell Makumbe said the Crusade concert was expected to kick off today at 4pm.

Prophet Makumbe said the crusade will be supported by the fellowship praise and worship team as well as upcoming musicians from the Midlands province.

“We are inviting all people from all walks of life to come and experience the power of God to this free for all crusades.

“Over the course of two days, people will be experiencing the power of God for once in a lifestyle event. Again the crusade concert seeks to promote Christian lifestyle in the society which is an indispensable ingredient to the development of a society,” said Prophet Makumbe.

He said people need to be entertained before introduce them to the word of God.

The FHM is fast gaining popularity in Kwekwe through its involvement in humanitarian work of supporting orphans, the elderly, and vulnerable groups.
