Sulu, Peter join forces in Marondera

“It always feels good to perform along mukoma Sulu and whenever we perform we always leave a memorable mark, Utakataka is ready for the show and everything is in place.”Dendera ace Suluman Chimbetu will tomorrow combine forces with the Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo as they perform at Legends Sports Bar in Marondera.It has been a while since the two last shared the stage.

In an interview with, Sulu as Chimbetu is affectionately known promised a well polished act as he will be sampling new songs at the show.

“We are working on our forthcoming album so we are going to take this opportunity to sample some of our new tracks in Marondera meaning this is going to be a chance for our Marondera fans to have a feel of what we are working on,

“As usual we are going to be in our best form and we promise nothing but the best of performance and I am sure our fans will agree with us that whenever the Dendera kings are on stage, they do not disappoint,” he said.

Tonight Sulu will share the stage with Sam Dondo at Radost at Longcheng in another show that is expected to be exciting.

But the dendera musician is most excited about his combination with Peter.

He said their combination with Peter has always been one of its kind and urged their fans in Marondera to come in large numbers.

“We have shared the stage with Peter and we share a strong combination, the combination started way back with his father and we have maintained it, every time we perform its fireworks making the Marondera show a no miss for the people of Marondera,” he said.

Peter echoed the same sentiments and vowed to wow the people of Marondera.

“It always feels good to perform along mukoma Sulu and whenever we perform we always leave a memorable mark, Utakataka is ready for the show and everything is in place,” he said.

Meanwhile, show promoter Daniel Masaiti said he is ecstatic about the show saying he has much confidence in the two artistes.

“I have worked with these two artistes and they never disappoint, Saturday show is going to be one of the best shows at our venue,” he said.

True to his word to engage upcoming artistes from Marondera as a way of giving them exposure whenever big artistes perform, Masaiti has roped in rising Marondera DJ , DJ Ninja for the show.
