Zanu-PF House of Assembly candidate Cde Saviour Kasukuwere has urged all aspiring candidates to maintain peace in their constituencies ahead of Wednesday’s harmonised elections.Speaking at a peace prayer concert organised by the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe in Mt Darwin last Friday, Cde Kasukuwere said elections should not leave scars or wounds on Zimbabweans due to violence.

The concert was held under the theme: “Seek peace and pursue it, Stop hatred, violence, evil and fighting.”
Cde Kasukuwere thanked churches for coming together for initiatives that promote peace.

“I urge all fellow politicians to desist from inciting violence because peace begins with me, peace begins with you and peace begins with all of you.
“It is important to pray for peaceful elections because we do not want people to be left with wounds after the elections so we say no to violence,” he said.
