Majeke drops love song

Sungura musician, Herbert Majeke has pleaded with show promoters to help him get some slots as a curtain raiser.

The Takashinga Stars band frontman is not a novice in the music industry.

 

The singer has just dropped a new single, Love Me Too (Ndidewo).

 

“The song is called Love Me Too and it is the love that my supports show me. It’s a love song with a good Sungura beat which blends well with the vocals which have been copied but showing the effort of being original.

 

“I got into the studio to dedicate this song to them even though there are some who hate me.

 

“I have noticed kutori nevamwe vasingambondifarirewo but I am appreciating those who value my contribution to the music industry,” he said.

 

Majeke is also pleading with music promoters to consider him on curtain-raising.

 

“I am pleading organisers of different shows to consider me.

 

“Organisers like Chipaz ngavandirangarirewo, ndiridzewo pamabig shows as a curtain raiser.”

 

Last year in August, Majeke launched his 15th album, ‘Mboma Pasi Petsoka.

 

Some of the songs on the album include Chatikwatara, Dry Mouth, Gara Pasi Udzikame, Kuundura, Chando Chiriko ft Fahem Somanje, and a bonus track Gotsi Raforomani, featuring Nicholas Zakaria.
