There has been a lot of talk down South Africa that big clubs such as Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are interested in the signature of the former Dynamos and Highlanders man but yesterday the striker downplayed the attention.
“I have heard a lot of rumours about clubs being intrested in me but l am not aware of anything.
“l am a Maritzburg player and l will keep working hard for my club.
“But l would be 28 later this year and l think it would be good for me to move but all that will depends on the offers,” said Malajila.
Malajila’s management team could also not be drawn to comment on the attention. They said they “just want their player to concentrate on the remaining games, not get distracted, finish strongly and will handle everything else during the offer season”.
Turning to the Golden Boot award, the striker chose to be cautious and said he will continue to work hard.
