TENANTS are now moving into the completed US$84 million Long Cheng Plaza shopping mall opposite the National Sports Stadium while the plaza is looking for occupants for the remaining space.A visit to the Mall by The Herald showed that tenants who got space were busy carrying out interior decorations as well as putting company logos on their office rooms.

Companies such as Africom and Telecel had already put their logos on their offices. The Plaza which is expected to be opened soon yesterday advertised rental space for a 2 000sqm space at the entrance of the plaza.

It also advertised two restaurants including one 300sqm coffee shop with yard. The rates vary depending on where the shop is located.
The plaza charges US$8 per square metre for the top shops and between US$22 and US$25 per square metre on the ground floor.

The smallest shop is 36 square metres while the biggest are 100 square metres The mall consists of up to 100 shops and offices, supermarkets one of which is going to be taken up by Spar, a hypermarket and a hardware shop which will be operated by Anjin.
