REAL Mallorca coach, Javier Aguirre, said he is eager for the return of Tino Kadewere from injury.
Aguirre said he can’t wait for Kadewere to make his debut for the La Liga side.
The Zimbabwe international, who is on loan from Olympique Lyon, suffered a quadriceps injury in his right leg, just before his debut for Mallorca, last month.
He is expected to be out for the rest of the year.
Kadewere is back to full training with his teammates.
Aguirre is relishing the prospect of having the striker available for selection.
“The only casualties are that of Grenier, who received the fifth yellow card, and the injured Tino (Kadewere) and Greif.
“The game against Sociedad showed me that the team also performed well despite playing with seven not-so-usual players,” the Mexican told Spanish media.
His team travel to face Valencia in their next game.
Known as ‘The Basque,’ the coach has been in charge of the Mexico, Egypt and Japanese national teams.
He has also coached Atletico Madrid, Zaragoza, Espanyol and Leganes in Spain.
He added:
“Now, I have 18 or 20 players who can be starters, a blessed problem.
“I’m waiting for Kadewere like rain in May.
“But, the important thing is that we gradually get good results.
“We need to continue trusting in the project.”
Kadewere’s move made him the first Zimbabwean to join a Spanish top-flight club
