guilty to sodomy charges when he appeared before regional magistrate Mr Never Katiyo who remanded him to tomorrow .
Prosecutor Mr Editor Mavuto alleges that on an unknown date last year, the accused invited his 12-year nephew to his house since their home was crowded.
The man and his nephew then went to his home where they slept together.
The court heard that the boy suddenly woke up after feeling pain in his back only to discover the man was sodomising him. He then asked his uncle what he was doing and the accused offered US$2 to the boy as a way of silencing him. The young boy refused the offer and left the house early in the morning, it is alleged.
It is alleged that the boy reported the matter to his mother’s sister who then made a police report.
On a different date that same year, the accused sodomised his other 13-year-old nephew, it is alleged.
It is further alleged that the 13-year-old boy had gone together with his sister to the accused’s home to look for mealie meal since their mother had been arrested.
He then asked the 13-year-old boy and the sister to have supper with him since he had vegetables in the house.
It is the court’s case that after they had finished eating, the accused ordered the girl to return home leaving the boy behind.
They then started watching television and he inserted a ponographic disk, the court heard.
It is the state’s case that the accused administered some herbs on the boys’ head leading to the boy feeling dizzy and sleepy.
Further allegations are that the boy woke up after feeling some pain in his back and questioned his uncle what was going on.
He falsely accused his nephew of stealing his US$20 threatening that if he told anyone he would report him to the police.
The 13-year-old only reported the matter after his 12-year-old cousin had confided in one of their aunts.
The accused also allegedly raped his 17-year-old nephew who is yet to testify in court.
The story came to light when the three boys had confided their ordeals leading to the accused’s arrest.
