Man assaults father (71) over dirty stove

A 34-year-old man appeared in court today on allegations of assaulting and insulting his father (71) after he asked him to clean the stove after preparing a meal.

Tawanda Gandari appeared at the Harare Magistrates Court on allegations of assaulting his father, Tendai Gandari.

He was charged with domestic violence and is expected to return to court tomorrow for plea recording.

Magistrate Miss Munashe Chibanda presided.
