Man bashes mother-in-law over daughters’ infidelity

A woman claims that she was bashed by her son-in-law after he caught his wife with a boyfriend.
Getrude Makwemba approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against Benjamin Chama, who blames her for not grooming her daughter properly.

She told the court that he accused her of hiring men to sleep with her daughter.

“Chama assaulted me blaming me for not bringing up my daughter well. Since the day my child was caught with a boyfriend by her husband, l have been a slave to him,” she said.
