A 42-year-old man, who has been breaking into homes in Harare, has been convicted and sentenced to 15 months imprisonment.
George Mupambuza alias Lamusi Banda was convicted and sentenced to a total of thirty months imprisonment.
He will serve an effective fifteen months imprisonment, for four counts of unlawful entry into premises.
In a statement, Criminal Investigations Department spokesperson, Detective Inspector Rachel Muteweri said during the period extending from June 2024 to September 2024, George broke into homes and stole household property ranging from television sets, laptops, decoders among other valuables.
