A MAN is on the run after he bashed and then raped his wife FOUR times.
The 45-year-old Warren Park man has only been identified as Knowledge.
The couple had been sleeping in separate rooms at the same house for some time following a misunderstanding over infidelity.
On the day in question, Knowledge called his wife into his bedroom.
Knowledge then assaulted her and raped her four times without protection.
She filed a police report after the incident.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case.
“Police are investigating a rape case involving a couple in Warren Park.
“The accused person was not located and the complainant was referred to Harare Hospital for medical examinations,” said Insp Chakanza.
