Man commits suicide over cheating wife

HE couldna��t live with the sad reality that he found his wife having sex with another man in the bush and he committed suicide.

Gift Kazembe from Hwinya village in Shurugwi found his wife Chido Maura groaning to the pleasures administered by a herdboy identified as Tadiwa.

Village sources told B-Metro that Maura had been cheating on her husband with Tadiwa for the past two years.

The lovers are said to have hit it off when they used to accompany each other to church every Sunday.

a�?Villagers started suspecting the two as they would accompany each other to church and to fetch firewood in the bush until Kazembe got a tip-off that his wife was having an affair with his former herdboy,a�? said the source.

A friend to Kazembe, who preferred to be identified as Shumba confirmed the issue. He added that his late friend initially told him that he suspected his wife of cheating.

a�?Kazembe told me the other day that he was suspicious of his wifea��s frequent visits to the clinic and one day he would follow her,a�? said Shumba.

It is reported that Kazembe followed his wife a few minutes later and found her having sex in the bush with the herd boy.

a�?He called me after the incident and said I should come and see him as he had something to tell me but when I went there it was too late. I found him lying on the ground with a bottle of cotton pesticide,a�? added Shumba.

When B-Metro contacted Maura she denied the allegations that she was caught having sex in the bush.

a�?I am not having an affair with Tadiwa, my late husband did not see me in the bush. I am still trying to understand why he committed suicide. People are just spreading rumours that I am responsible for my husbanda��s death,a�? said Maura.
