A HARARE man wept in court claiming his wife has been abusing him since they separated.

Sebastian Kativhu said his wife, Beauty Chinjewa, verbally abuses him, calling him a dog in front of their children, and he wanted a protection order against her.

He told the court that Beauty always threatens to get him arrested.

“I don’t know how to deal with this woman anymore, she harasses me in public,” said Sebastian.

Beauty did not oppose the granting of the protection order.

She said the protection order had no effect on her since they are on separation .

“I have moved on with my life, I no longer need this man.

“Give him the protection order, I will never call or talk to him starting from today,” Beauty said.

After hearing both parties, Magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted Sebastian the protection order.
